Had a lovely breakfast with my partner here recently while visiting Fort Erie.
Not only was the menu interesting, the food was reasonably priced and of good quality, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, we also got the fantastic life story of the owners. She made us feel super welcome, and we had a lovely chat!
Staff- wonderful.
Food- good quality.
Parking- outside the restaurant.
Bathrooms- did not use. -

Went with a friend for breakfast. I ordered the chicken souvlaki breakfast. I got one chicken tenderloin smothered in kind of a lemony sauce and feta cheese. A small serving of fried-ish potatoes...it would have been nice if they were a little crispy, as I had asked. Also asked for basted eggs (any line cook should know what that is, but I guess I am wrong...) and got two fried hard eggs. Rye toast, dry, no butter. No offer of any other condiments to accompany; there were jelly packets on the table. My friend got the chicken souvlaki salad and it was drenched in this lemony dressing with almost no chicken on it.
There were only two other tables occupied, so one might think we could expect some attentive service. Had to ask twice for coffee and then had to ask the owner, who wandered past, for a refill. Finally just got up and got my own coffee. Asked twice for water; never got it. When I got up to get my own coffee our waitress was sitting in another booth, enjoying her lunch. Well, I am glad she had a nice lunch, as her 2-3 tables of customers took care of themselves.
Oh, and the price? A crap breakfast with coffee I had to pour myself? $21.00. No thanks. -

The food is great but the service is beyond horrible. Owners must be running the whole joint.. took us 25 minutes to even see the server and another 40 to get our food. If you're in a hurry Do Not go in.
Call ahead and do take out every time and you won't be disappointed. -

My Order: Deluxe Lamb Meat Combo for two (don't get it).
Pros
+ Parking: But then again, most businesses offer private parking lots in this area.
Cons
- Food: dry, not the slightest bit flavorful. My favorite was the mushrooms (that cost $5 to be added onto our dish btw). They charged me $1 for tzatziki sauce the size of a quarter. I also overheard the conversation between the cook and the server, "what? she wants more sauce?" 'yes, she does.' "does she know it's going to cost her?' "yes...she does" Uh, rude? The sauce was the only tasty thing on my dish.
- Service: while friendly, incredibly slow. On a Friday night, we were the only ones there and still had to wait a good 15 min each time we wanted a refill or to get the bill.
Since I rarely splurge, I wanted to give this greek restaurant a try. We got the more expensive combo (which in hindsight, I feel like the smaller wraps might have been more worth the money). The ambiance felt rather forced, it was like a Denny's with paintings of Greece plastered on the walls.
I really wanted to love this place. But I barely even like it. -

Why doesn't this place have great reviews?!?? The food is excellent and wholesome and the service is outstanding and friendly. This restaurant is a treasure and the food is quick but expertly prepared. Top quality and affordable too.
